Break is the point at which suspension can no longer be sustained. What was held begins to give way; light fractures, atmosphere opens, and the composition moves from restraint into release. As the second work in Threshold, Break is not simply rupture, but transition — the instant a boundary is crossed and what follows can no longer return precisely to what came before.
